2005 Jacksonville Jaguars NFL Handicapping Review Part 2
By Tom Wilkinson
Jacksonville was 5-3 both straight up and against the
online sports betting odds as they headed into the bye week
after thoroughly confusing even the best experts at sports
handicapping pro football picks. It seemed as if the entire
sports betting community was chasing its tails with Jaguar
games, always behind the curve and late with most reactive
losses to the online sports betting websites and sportsbooks.
Jacksonville kicked off the second half of their season by
hosting Detroit. The sports betting odds makers installed
the Jags as 3.5-point chalks and this game had one of those

was written off and forgotten and many sports betting
players, in fact, started thinking that they were now a go
against team. The scorching red hot Pittsburgh Steelers came
to Jacksonville next, and the “smart money” for this Sunday
Night TV game was all over The Steelers. And once again, the
Jags surprised and confounded sports betting players, losing
16-17 as 3-point dogs. They continued to confuse online
sports betting players with a home win and “RE”-cover
against Chicago, and then blew out multitudes of sports
betting bankrolls with a stunning 28-25 win at Green Bay
over the Packers and the cold weather theory. Then, with the
