Sportscapper MLB Play for Tuesday – San Diego Padres

San Diego seems to have the magic touch in close games, as they've come from behind in their third straight game to beat Colorado yesterday. They can mostly thank Khalil Green, who hit two home runs, including the game winner, and is batting .615 during the Padres winning streak.
The Padres send Woody Williams to the mound, who despite a sub .500 record, has pitched very well recently. He's allowed only one earned run in each of his last four starts, and in his last three outings have all been Padres victories!

Colorado looked downright sloppy yesterday committing three errors, as they now lead the N.L. with 111 errors. Besides that, they start Jamey Wright who's had his share of trouble with San Diego going 0-2 this season. Really the only reason this guy is even pitching is the injury to Kim. Look for the Pads' to take advantage of Wright struggles and build a comfortable lead behind Greene's red hot bat, while Williams should have no trouble limiting the Rockies for the second San Diego win of the series.
