For Friday, Let's go with the Washington Nationals. I know they had a long cross country trip without the benefit of a day off but the bottom line is, Washington is finding ways to win. They just swept the Mets and now they have Patterson going tonight and you could say he has been their ace this year.
Yeah the Padres have Peavy going and he did pitch well against the Nats in his last outing, but this Washington team is thriving on playing big games this late in the year. Look for them to get the win tonight. They are a nice little underdog that has a decent shot to win.
