Sportscapper Friday NFL, CFB & MLB Nice 2-1 yesterday that nearly was a 3-0 but late TD in the Redskins game sent it over and then into overtime. Sportscapper NFL Play for Friday ? Cincinnati Bengals ?6 This game is much more important to the Bengals than it is to the Colts. Indy starters will play one series or none while the Bengals will be playing until they get it right. After last week?s debacle it might be a while, but huge motivational edge to Cincinnati here and you get starters for a lot longer. Colts will be going with 2nd and 3rd stringers the whole game. Bengals need to make up for last week and show their fans they have something to look forward to this season. Sportscapper NFL Play for Friday ? Cincinnati Bengals ?6 Sportscapper CFB Play for Friday ? Central Michigan +7.5 For Friday, let's take the Central Michigan Chippewas. Indiana has a very inexperienced offense and even though Terry Hoeppner, the Former Head Coach of Miami Ohio, is taking over the reigns, if he doesn't have the athletes to run his spread attack offense, that offense is going to struggle. See, that Miami Ohio offense was a very intricate offense. There were a lot of audibles, there were receivers changing their patterns on the fly and the Quarterbacks had to be on the same page. To learn that offense will take some time, it will take chemistry between the Wideouts and Quarterback and I just don't believe 15 spring practices and 2 and a half weeks of camp is enough to become comfortable with it. What happens when you have QB's and WR's on different pages? - Interceptions or sacks. As for Central Michigan they have a decent offensive team that should put some points on the board. Their defense isn't great but the fact that I believe the Hoosiers will struggle with their own system offensively should help the Chippewas defense. Sometimes you make big plays just by being in the right spot. I'll take the points at home tonight with Central Michigan. Sportscapper CFB Play for Friday ? Central Michigan +7.5 Sportscapper MLB Play for Friday ? Milwaukee Brewers The Padres edged the Brewers last night 6-5, but will be hard-pressed to duplicate that result against the tough Chris Capuano at Miller Park tonight.
Capuano is off a 7 inning, 4 run loss to Atlanta at home his last time out, but had looked dynamite in his prior 2 starts in which he allowed the opposition just 2 earned runs over 15 innings, while striking out 16 batters along the way. The Brewers have been able to win 10 of Capuano's last 14 starts, and should be able to get something going against Brian Lawrence who is just 5-7 on the road this season with an over 4 ERA.
San Diego is just 2-9 the last 11 times Lawrence has trotted to the hill, so lay a little wood and back the Brew Crew this evening at home. Sportscapper MLB Play for Friday ? Milwaukee Brewers |
