After last season's debacle, it appears U-Dub is going to be competitive this year under Willingham. The Huskies get to face a Cal team that has some serious question marks at the QB spot, as starter Longshore is now out with a broken leg. Both Ayoob and Levy looked a little shaky in action last week against Sacramento State, and may struggle on the road in this spot. The line value has been a bit nullified, as UW did open getting double digits, and is now down to single digit dogs. No worries though, as these Huskies are capable of pulling off the outright upset. Washington has gone 17-2 straight up in their last 19 home openers, going 6-3 against the spread since 1996. The points work today in Seattle. Sportscapper CFB Play for Saturday ? Washington Nationals The Nats got a huge come from behind victory at home over the Braves last night to keep their Wild Card hopes going and today they look to make it two straight. Livan Hernandez has been solid all season long and almost always gives Washington a chance to win every time out. Anytime he is a dog at home it is definitely worth a look. Jorge Sosa for the Braves has been solid as well, but it could be that he is getting a little bit tired, as last time out he was not his best. Look for the Nats and Hernandez to come up with the big victory over Atlanta today. Sportscapper MLB Play for Saturday ? Washington Nationals |
