Bills Turn to Holcomb, Raiders Back to Collins Two teams going nowhere are back to old retreads at quarterback this week. The Buffalo Bills go back to Kelly Holcomb, while the Oakland Raiders turn back to Kerry Collins. The good news, if there is any, for the Bills is that Holcomb is at least better than J.P. Losman. Holcomb was 2-2 in his starts, while Losman was a disaster. The news for the Raiders is pretty much irrelevant. With Norv Turner guiding the team, it really doesn’t matter who is at quarterback, but Collins is definitely not the answer. Marques Tuiasosopo only got one game for his quarterback tryout and Turner changed his mind and went back to Collins. The Raiders are a huge mess and Turner’s switching back and forth between quarterbacks is not helping the cause. The best thing for the Raiders is to start over. Get rid of Turner, discard Collins, get a good coach, put the quarterback future in the hands of Andrew Walter, and move on.
