Billingsley has been outstanding of late, going 3-0 with a 1.13 ERA in his last four starts, allowing a total of three runs and 13 hits over 24 innings. Toss out an ugly game against the Cardinals (five earned runs in five innings), and the rookie is 4-0 with a 0.75 ERA in six starts since mid-July.
The righthander is 2-2 with a 2.83 ERA on the road. He made his major-league debut at Petco Park back on June 15 and yielded two runs on six hits in 5 1/3 innings, but he failed to earn a decision in the Dodgers’ 7-3 win.
The over is 8-2 in Park’s last 10 outings and 3-0 in his three starts against the Dodgers in 2006. Meanwhile, Billingsley’s lone start against San Diego soared over the posted price, but the under is 5-2 in his last seven appearances overall.
